Lecturn does not include model subscriptions, inference credits, or hosted computers. Bring your own supported provider account and keep the computer hosting your environment running for remote access.
Teams centralizes purchasing and management. An assigned seat funds a member’s own environments; it does not give coworkers or administrators access to their projects, conversations, or provider credentials.
Shared worker pools, organization SSO provisioning, and MDM enforcement are not included in this release.
A few useful answers
Do I need Connect to use Lecturn?
No. Local use, direct pairing, SSH, and Tailscale remain free. Managed Connect access, managed push notifications, and Live Activities require an active subscription, trial, or complimentary access.
What counts as a managed environment?
A computer or server you publish through Connect. Enabled environments count toward your limit even while offline; disabling or unlinking one releases that capacity.
Does joining a team automatically activate Connect?
No. An administrator must explicitly assign a purchased seat, including to the team owner. Team funding does not automatically move existing environments or cancel a personal subscription.
How do seat reductions work?
Reductions take effect at renewal and cannot go below the number of assigned seats. Removing a seat assignment does not reduce the number of seats you have purchased.
What do iPhone notifications need?
An online hosting computer, Connect access, enabled activity publishing, and notification permission on your iPhone. Live Activity presentation depends on the device.
